Mallard

mallard duck. Waterfowl, Anatidae . Also known as Aokubi. During the breeding season, they act in turn. The colorful one on the left is a male, but during the non-breeding season it has a feather color similar to that of a female (beak remains yellow, so it is possible to distinguish between males and females). Taken at the mouth of the Muromi River at the foot of Mt. Atago.

Starling

Starling. Passerine Starling family Starling genus. The size is about 24 cm. Usually, it is often seen that they fly in groups and peck insects on grasslands. At dusk, they gather on the roadside trees and electric wires, and their cry is noisy. During the breeding season, they act in turn, and the images are taken of the turn in that period (male on the left and female on the right). Males are blackish and females are brownish.
