Sakurazaka
The road that passes in front of Kannon Denji Temple on the back approach of Atago Shrine and continues to the stairs is called Sakurazaka. This name is probably given because many Yoshino cherry trees are planted on both sides of this slope. There is a unique atmosphere during the flowering period. However, there are cherry blossom trees up to Kannon Mitsuji Temple, and above that there is a dense forest, which is covered with giant trees such as beech trees.

The name of Sakurazaka is only because of this season. In the cherry blossom tunnel during the flowering season of Yoshino cherry tree.
