Eight hands. Also known as Tengu no Hauchiwa (Tengu's feather fan). An evergreen shrub of the genus Fatsia in the family Araliaceae. It is distributed west of Kanto. It can be seen normally in the city. The leaves are large and deeply cut, and the number gradually increases as they grow, and many of them are divided into 9 leaves (8 cuts).
Fruits of paperplant that are gathered in a spherical shape. The flowering season is late autumn, and the fruit grows to about 3 mm in the spring of the following year, and then ripens and turns black in the following spring.
