Yamahashi. Urushi family Urushi genus. Dioecious. It is a deciduous small tree that grows west of the Kanto region. It is similar to Hazenoki, except that it has many hairs on the leaf axis. Hazenoki is hairless. The bark is dark brown and split vertically and is used for dyeing. You may get a rash depending on your constitution.
Along with Hazenoki, he is the driving force behind the autumn leaves of Mt. Atago. The tips of the leaves are sharp in both cases, but the thin tips of Hazenoki are more elongated.
