Vine daily grass. Apocynaceae Periwinkle genus. At first glance, it looks like grass, but it is an evergreen vine small shrub. Native to Southern Europe, it is durable. Entered Japan as a cultivar such as ground cover in the Meiji era and became wild. The flowering season is from spring to summer. There is a similar myrtle periwinkle, but the one with hair on the calyx is the periwinkle, and the one without it is the myrtle.
