Wild grapes. It is a vine deciduous shrub of the genus Ampelopsis of the Grapes family and is normally distributed in the mountains all over the country. Also called dog grapes or crow grapes in some regions. It has the name "grape" and is similar to grapes, wild grapes, and vitis ficifolia, but a different species (genus Grapevine ).
The flower of the vine is an amphoteric flower with both stamens and pistils. Vitis ficifolia, which is very similar to this, is dioecious. In addition, there is white fluff on the back of the leaves of Vitis ficifolia, but it is not found in Nogure, so it can be distinguished.
The fruits alternate with the leaves. This is also a difference from grapes. When ripe, it becomes sky blue, blue, and russet. There are white fruits, but in fact this is the original color, and the colored fruits are parasitic fruits parasitized by larvae of grape gall midge and grape bee. Birds like to eat, but unlike grapes, they taste bad.
