Female bamboo. Gramineae Pleioblastus. Also known as Shinotake, Nigatatake, Onnatake, Nayotake, etc. Perennial evergreen bamboo grass that is widely distributed west of the Kanto region. The internodes are about 15 cm and are used for bamboo work such as brush shafts and baskets. It was used for various purposes as a material, but today it is no longer in demand and is left unattended.
