Full harvest, witch hazel, golden plum. A deciduous small tree of the witch hazel family, witch hazel. Endemic to Japan. Distributed from the Pacific side of Honshu to Kyushu. From February to March, the flowers bloom before the leaves come out. The yellow petals are string-shaped and about 1.5 cm long. At its root is a short reddish-brown sepal.
