Take a break at the sweets shop

There are two sweet teahouses at the entrance of Atago Shrine (there were three in the past). If you get tired of walking, take a break. Meals are also possible. The store on the west side is " Iwaiya " and the store on the east side is " Bintsukiya ". "Iwai Mochi" and "Atago Mochi" are standard, respectively. From the bottle shop, you can see the forest of Shirasagi nesting site (currently only a few) in front of you and the view of the city.

Iwaiya was founded in 1689 (Genroku 2) as Hatagoya, and has a history of more than 100 years as a sweet teahouse and is now the 21st generation.

The bottle shop was originally a shop that sold bintsuke oil used to harden bintsuke and Japanese hair in the Edo period. I heard from a store that I used camellia fruits from Mt. Atago.

For those who want to eat well, why not try "Yohira" on the Atagoyama sightseeing road.
