Jizo-in Temple

There is a large signboard of Atago Shrine just west of the Atago intersection, which is a landmark for the entrance to Onnazaka. The temple that you can see in front of you is the Jizo-in Temple of the Shingon sect. Since it is in the middle of the slope, you will go up the stairs immediately after entering the entrance where the big Fudo Myo is standing, and you will reach the main hall. The principal image is the Eleven-faced Senju Kanzeon Bosatsu. The Higirijizo, which is located on the opposite side of the stairs of the main hall, is also called the Higirijizo, and many people visit it because it will be realized if they make a wish for a limited time. On the left and right sides of the hall, votive tablets with wishes are displayed. Awashima Daimeijin on the side is the guardian deity of a woman's life.
