ツユクサ
Chestnut. Beech family Chestnut. It is dioecious and blooms from May to June. From September to October, a few fruits are borne in acorns with squid. It seems that there are two or three chestnut trees from the falling squid, but so far it has not been possible to identify which tree.
ツユクサの花。朝に咲き、昼には萎むことから、朝露を連想して名が付いたとの説もあるが、古く言われていたツキクサ(着き草、月草)が元との説もある。早朝に咲き、午後には萎む。
