オドリコソウ
Chestnut. Beech family Chestnut. It is dioecious and blooms from May to June. From September to October, a few fruits are borne in acorns with squid. It seems that there are two or three chestnut trees from the falling squid, but so far it has not been possible to identify which tree.
花は茎の上部の数段の葉腋に数個づつ輪生している。ピンクまたは白色の花は、笠をかぶり、輪になった踊り子達の姿に見えるので名が付いた。
ヤシマ（野芝麻）という生薬名で、全草を乾燥させ、煎じ薬として腰痛や打撲傷、月経不順などに飲用。
オドリコソウの花
花期は４～６月。花の基部に蜜がある。若芽はお浸しにして食べられる。
